Multiple Arrests Yields Large Amount of Narcotics, 2 Guns & 4 Suspects

Newark – In a series of three separate plainclothes operations conducted today and on Wednesday, EssexCounty sheriff’s detectives arrested four suspects and filed weapons and drug charges against them.
Newark – An armed suspect, accused of narcotics trafficking, was arraigned today following his arrest by EssexCounty sheriff’s officers.
Sheriff Armando Fontoura stated that Officers Dominick Petrucci and Ryan Udvarhely were on quality of life patrol in the area of WeequahicPark at on Friday when they observed a 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio convertible parked in front of the Seth Boyden complex, a known high drug trafficking area.
Leaning inside the passenger side window and conversing with the vehicle’s occupants was a suspect, later identified as Aaron Miller, age 19, of Newark.
