In an effort to enhance the public and law enforcement's ability to bring missing persons investigations to successful conclusions, a helpful website has been initiated.

The public website, www.namus.gov, is divided into two databases; one for unidentified persons and the other for missing persons. The public can search the unidentified persons database for data which has been uploaded by medical examiners and coroners. Inquiries into the missing persons database re-directs the searcher to another website where the public can register to upload information about their missing family members.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons Sytem website can be accessed through the Links section of this website.
