Reward Offer: Murder of 2 Union County Men PDF Print E-mail

NewarkEssex County law enforcement authorities today posted a cash reward offer for the suspect wanted in the shooting death of two Union County men in Newark.

Sheriff Armando Fontoura stated that the Crimestoppers program will pay up to $5,000 for details that lead to the arrest of the person wanted for the murders of Aldula Davis, age 38, of Elizabeth, and Shareef Burton, age 32, of Hillside. The victims were gunned down outside 117 Ridgewood Avenue at 1:30 a.m. on April 29, 2010.

It is believed that Davis and Burton were on their way to or just leaving a nearby chicken restaurant. No motive is known for the slayings.
