Reward Posted for Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Assault PDF Print E-mail

Newark – Law enforcement authorities today posted a cash reward offer for information that leads to the arrest of Alvin Camillo who is wanted for aggravated assault.

Sheriff Armando Fontoura stated that his department’s Crimestoppers program will pay up to $2,000 for information that leads investigators to Camillo’s arrest.

Fontoura said that at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2012 Camillo entered the Clarence B. Wright Funeral Home at 579 Grove Street in Irvington and confronted an adult male. Camillo is accused of opening a folding knife and stabbing the victim in the face and abdomen. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

According to Irvington police, Camillo has prior arrests for gun possession and the suspect should be considered as dangerous. Camillo’s last know address is 12 Vernon Avenue, Newark, New Jersey.
