|Arrest Yields Gun, Illegal Bullets, Drugs|
At this point, the rear passenger door opened and a male, later identified as Daquan Cuttino, age 19, of
Fontoura said that Officers Ryan Udvarhely and Dominic Petrucci chased Cuttino on foot. While in pursuit the sheriff’s officers observed as the suspect grasped at an item that was in his waistband.
During the chase Cuttino threw a .357 Taurus handgun, loaded with illegal hollow point bullets, to the ground. The weapon was immediately recovered by the officers. It was later determined that the handgun had been reported stolen out of
Udvarhely and Petrucci finally caught up with the suspect on
A search of Cuttino yielded two Xanax tablets and two bags of marijuana.
Cuttino was charged with the unlawful possession of a weapon, receiving stolen property and possession of hollow point bullets. He was also charged with two counts each of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and resisting arrest.
At today’s arraignment, Judge Marilyn Williams set bail on Cuttino at $50,000. The suspect remains lodged at the county jail.
