Also seized from in a metal safe that was bolted to Williams’s bedroom floor were 145 envelopes of heroin, stamped "FUJI POWER" in black ink, $1879.00 cash and a small amount of marijuana.
During a further search of the apartment, the sheriff’s detectives discovered Lamar Boykins in a rear bedroom. Upon noticing the detectives, Boykins ran and jumped from a first floor window. After a brief foot chase, Boykis was tackled to the ground and placed under arrest.
Williams was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of
Boykins was charged with resisting arrest and was lodged at the county jail where he awaits a later court appearance.
At today’s arraignment, Judge Marilyn Williams ordered Williams held at the county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
