At that time, the driver of the Jeep, Latia Glover, age 26, of East Orange, and her passengers, Aaliyyah Harris, age 20, also of East Orange, and 18-year-old Faheem Ahmad of Newark were issued summonses for defiant trespass.

Glover, Harris and Ahmad were released at the scene.

Moments later, four adult males, a juvenile male and a juvenile female exited the kitchen building. Marquise Evans, age 19, and Malcolm Slaughter, James Jones, Jr, and Dajuan Eadsabus-Saleem, all 18 years of age and all from Newark, a 17-year-old Newark male and a 14-year-old East Orange female were also issued summonses for defiant trespass.

The adult male suspects who had been in the old kitchen were fingerprinted and photographed prior to release on their own recognizance. The juveniles were released into the custody of adult family members.
