Reward Offer: Broad Street Hit and Run Death PDF Print E-mail

NewarkEssex County law enforcement authorities today posted a cash reward offer for information that leads to the arrest of a driver of a car that struck and killed an elderly woman on Newark on April 14th.

Sheriff Armando Fontoura stated that the Crimestoppers program will pay up to $5,000 for facts about the driver of a dark-colored Cadillac STS which struck Rosa Mino, age 70 of Harrison, on Broad Street between Bridge and Lombardy streets at 12:30 p.m. last Wednesday.

Sheriff Fontoura added that the suspect vehicle fled the scene south on Broad Street and that it should have hood and windshield damage consistent with a pedestrian strike.
