Reward for Information in East Orange Hit & Run Fatality PDF Print E-mail

East Orange – Sheriff Armando Fontoura today announced a cash reward offer up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the June 11, 2011 hit-and-run fatality in East Orange.

Sheriff Fontoura said the reward would be paid by the Crimestoppers program.

The victim, a 39-year-old female, was struck and killed on Freeway Drive East and South Walnut Street. The incident occurred at 11:30 p.m.

Witnesses describe the suspect vehicle as a metallic silver, 4-door, 2003 Honda Accord. The vehicle should have damage on the passenger side front fender, door and hood. Witnesses also indicate there may be damage to the windshield. The vehicle was last seen traveling east on Route 280 toward Newark.
