Reward Offer in Wright Murder Case PDF Print E-mail

Newark – Law enforcement authorities today posted a cash reward offer in a Newark homicide case.

Sheriff Armando Fontoura stated that the Crimestoppers program will pay up to $5,000 for details that lead to an arrest in the shooting death of Al – Juan Wright.

At 7:00 p.m. on December 7, 2011, Newark police responded to 25 Irvine Turner Boulevard for a shooting in progress. Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered Wright, then age 21, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

Wright was transported to University Hospital and was pronounced dead later that evening.
