Reward Offer in Assault Turned Deadly PDF Print E-mail

Irvington – Law enforcement authorities today posted a cash reward offer for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect or suspects who assaulted a 70-year-old Roselle Park man who later died of his injuries.

Sheriff Armando Fontoura said that Robert Sabio died from blunt-force trauma following an assault by the driver and/or passengers of a vehicle that the victim’s car had bumped into at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 on the 1300 block of Springfield Avenue in Irvington.

Sheriff Fontoura stated that the Crimestoppers program would pay up to $5,000 for details that lead investigators to an arrest in the case.
