Fitzgerald Figliuolo

As Emergency Management Coordinator for Essex County, the Sheriff relies heavily on Undersheriff Fitzgerald Figliuolo as Deputy Coordinator to assist in overseeing the busiest Office of Emergency Management in the state. Undersheriff Figliuolo supervises and directs the day to day operations of the Executive Protection Unit, Fleet Management Unit, Bomb Squad and K-9 unit which provide services to not only Essex County but several surrounding counties and federal agencies. U/S Figliuolo also acts as the departments legislative liaison. U/S Figliuolo’s 18 years of service to the department have well prepared him for his multiple roles.
