As Chief of the Essex County Sheriff's Office, Chief Spango is responsible overseeing the entire day-to-day operations of the Essex County Sheriff's Office. Chief Spango also acts as the Business Administrator for the Sheriff’s Office and oversees Budget, Labor Relations, Purchasing, and Personnel. Chief Spango is a 15 year veteran of the Essex County Sheriff's Office and is a graduate of Seton Hall University and attended Seton Hall Law School.
